Relativa Emoción participa en celebración de blog de cine

Relativa Emoción participó en la celebración del quinto aniversario del blog argentino de cine "MiCine" por Halbert, a partir de la creación de cinco modelos de encabezados, donde la figura principal debía ser la emblemática Marilyn Monroe.

Fuimos escogidos, durante el día de hoy, para encabezar el blog, que muestra una imagen de la bella Marylin inspirada en la última celebración del festival de Cannes,la cual creamos hace unas semanas atrás.

Le deseamos un muy feliz cumpleaños a este blog, que ya desde cinco años publica información relativa al cine, análisis de películas argentinas, acertijos fotográficos, etc. Nuestro blog pretende ser un espacio personal más que una bitácora de difusión, pero igualmente nos alregra ser parte de la comunidad cinéfila de la web. Saludos a Halbert!

Kramer vs. Kramer (Robert Benton). 2012.

De un día para otro, Ted debe enfrentar la separación de su esposa Joanna, además de asumir la responsabilidad del cuidado de su pequeño hijo. Comienza a descuidar su trabajo, tiene que enfrentar nuevos horarios, debe asumir nuevas responsabilidades. Pero todos estos cambios también le posibilitan tener una nueva relación con su hijo, quién sufre por la separación con su madre. Kramer vs. Kramer es una película ganadora de cuatro premios Oscar, uno para mejor director y otro para Meryl Streep como actriz secundaria en el rol de Joanna, la madre que después de un tiempo, decide reclamar la custodia de su hijo, mejor película del año, y mejor actor principal, para Dustin Hoffman.

Las actuaciones son fabulosas. Me sorprendió la del pequeño niño, interpretado por Justin Henry (quién luego haría un pequeño papel en la película sixteen candels junto a Molly Rinwald) y que fue nominado como mejor actor de reparto a la edad de 8 años. También la actuación de Dustin Hoffman, que es Ted, el atribulado padre que después deberá enfrentar a Joanna en el juicio por la custodia de su hijo, es memorable.

From one day to another, Ted must face the separation from his wife Joanna, in addition to assuming the responsibility for the care of their young son. Begins to neglect his work, has to face new schedules and assume new responsibilities. But these changes also allow a new relationship with his son, who suffers for separation from his mother. Kramer vs. Kramer is a film that won three Oscars, one for Best Director and one for Best Supporting Actress Meryl Streep in the role of Joanna, the mother who after a time, decides to seek the custody of his son, best film of the year, and Best Leading Male role, to Dustin Hoffman.

The performances are fabulous. I was surprised at the little boy, played by Justin Henry, (who then do a small part in the film alongside Molly Rinwald “sixteen candels”) that was nominated for Best Supporting Actor at the age of 8 years. Also the performance of Dustin Hoffman, who is Ted, the troubled father who must face after Joanna at trial for custody of his son, is memorable.

Could Mountain (Anthony Minghella). 2003.

La búsqueda del ser amado en medio de la adversidad de la guerra civil estadounidense, protagonizada por un soldado que desea regresar a Could Mountain, a los brazos de Ada Monroe, quién lo espera eternamente en una granja empobrecida. Ambos deberán enfrentar una serie de obstáculos, mientras sueñan con la posibilidad lejana de encontrarse. En este camino agudo y agreste, compartirán situaciones límites, siempre con la posibilidad de la desgracia. Inman, el soldado, deberá enfrentar las vicisitudes de un guerrero desertor en medio de la crisis del hambre y la constante moral inquisidora de aquellos que traicionan a la patria. Ada por su lado, deberá hacer frente a los constantes ataques del comisario del pueblo, pero tendrá la compañía de una nueva amiga, Ruby, quién le enseñará a trabajar en aquellas tareas diarias de una granja.

Hermosas tomas de paisajes, un elenco envidiable, un Oscar para la mejor actriz de reparto (Rene Zellweger), hacen de esta historia un buen relato del fallecido, pero prolífico director Anthony Minghella.

Beautiful landscape shots, an enviable cast, an Oscar for Best Supporting Actress (Rene Zellweger), make this story a good tale of the deceased, but prolific director Anthony Minghella.

Dos más Dos (Diego Kaplan). 2012. Argentina

Dos parejas heterosexuales viven en la ciudad de Buenos Aires. Una de ellas, es un matrimonio acomodado con un hijo preadolescente que vive el día a día casi de manera imperceptible, aburridos sexualmente y en una constante monotonía en cada una de sus acciones. La otra, una pareja de novios muy enamorados que realiza swinger y ha descubierto en esta práctica la clave para el éxito y la pasión. De esta manera, todo se complica para Diego, el hombre casado y conservador que comienza a ser tentado por su mujer y sus amigos para comenzar a vivir el intercambio de parejas, lo que de acuerdo a los demás, le permitirá acariciar nuevamente el desenfreno y las ganas de vivir. Comienza pues una serie de sucesos, que en tono de comedia del estilo argentino, se van desarrollando, mientras todos los integrantes del grupo deben comenzar a enfrentar sus propias aprensiones, deseos, pulsiones y desenfrenos. Es un film sin mayores aspiraciones, pero la picardía argentina le imprime ese sello particular que mantiene la atención durante todo el tiempo.

El amante. (Jean Jacques Annaud ). 1992. Francia-Inglaterra-Vietnam

Una joven de origen francés que vive en la colonia de Vietman junto a su madre y dos hermanos en un estado de pobreza y abandono. Conoce a un comerciante chino millonario mientras cruza en un ferry el río Mekong hacía Saigón, lugar donde se estudia en un internado. La atracción evidente entre ambos personajes se da desde el inicio. Él decide llevarla en su auto durante el trayecto hacia la escuela, evidenciando la atracción que ambos sienten a través de las miradas y el acercamiento de sus manos. Comienzan a vivir fogosos encuentros en una de las casas de solteros del barrio chino, en un ambiente de secreto y disimulo, ya sea por las convenciones sociales de la época, la diferencia de edad y raza de los amantes, además de la constante mirada inquisidora del hermano mayor de la chica, quién se encuentra sumido en el opio y las deudas del juego. Los protagonistas deciden hacer frente a sus pasiones, siempre al límite de sus sentimientos más profundos, en un abismo hacia un final ciego, donde no hay espacio para que salga la verdad.

Dirigida por Jean-Jacques Annaud (Siete años en el Tibet), es una película clásica, llena de bellas imágenes y muy sensual.

The Lover (L'amant).

A young french girl live in the colony of Vietnam with her mother and two brothers in a state of poverty and neglect. She meets a Chinese merchant millionaire in a ferry, while cross the Mekong River to Saigon, where she was studying in a boarding school. The obvious attraction between the two characters is given from the beginning. He decides to take her in his car on the way to school, showing that both feel the attraction through the eyes and hands on approach. They start to live fiery encounters in one of the houses of unmarried Chinatown, in an atmosphere of secrecy and dissimulation, either by social conventions of the time, the difference in age and race fans and the constant inquisitive the older brother of the girl, who is mired in opium and gambling debts. The protagonists decide to face their passions, always at the limit of their deepest feelings in a chasm to a blind end, where there is no room for the truth to come out.

Directed by Jean-Jacques Annaud (Seven Years in Tibet), is a classic film, full of beautiful images and very sensual.

Precious. (Lee Davis). 2009

Pobre, Negra, Mujer, Gorda, se unen en un protagónico que carga con todas las posibles ofensas, discriminaciones y rechazo social. Una joven que a pesar del continuo maltrato de su entorno, sobrevive inmersa en el sueño despierta cargado de belleza, brillo, éxito, cariño y atención, de la que su vida entera carece.

Este film, es un intento de mostrar la belleza a través de la joven “Precious”, a pesar de lo sucio, el estupor, la crudeza y las emociones más sórdidas de la convivencia humana.

“Precious”, es una de esas películas que transporta al espectador por diversos y extremos sentimientos, siempre al borde de apretar el stop y la ansiedad de conocer un desenlace trágico o esperanzador.

A Roma con amor. (Woody Allen). 2012.

Una serie de historias se van desarrollando en la hermosa ciudad de Roma, que acoge a diversos personajes con variadas problemáticas: una amiga que viene a encantar a un chico con su peculiar personalidad, un cantante de ópera que sólo canta bien en la ducha, un famoso que es famoso sólo por el hecho de ser famoso, una mujer perdida por las calles de la ciudad, y un hombre perturbado y nervioso que descubre como puede ser más feliz. A pesar de que esta nueva comedia de Woody Allen logra sacar risas a sus espectadores (el tráiler es mucho más llamativo que la película misma), las escenas jocosas se tornan un poco repetitivas. Es una buena opción para ver durante una tarde entre semana y luego durante el día siguiente seguir recordando algunos de los hermosos rincones de la bella citta di Roma.

To Rome with Love. (Woody Allen). 2012.

A serie of stories are taking place in the beautiful city of Rome, home to a number of characters who face severals problems: a girl friend who came to inlove a guy with his peculiar personality, an opera singer who only sings well in the shower, a celebrity who is famous only for being famous, a woman lost in the streets of the city, and a disturbed and nervous man who descover how can be happier. Although this new Woody Allen’s comedy permited make laugh in their viewers (the trailer is much more striking than the film itself), humorous scenes become a little repetitive. It's a good option to see during a afternoon weekday , to remembering at the netx day some of the beautiful places of the beautiful Citta di Roma.

Tres metros sobre el cielo. (Fernando González Molina). 2010. España

Ambientada en la calurosa y divertida Barcelona, un joven llamado H busca su destino en medio de corridas de motos, alcohol y desenfreno. Inevitablemente, debe hacer frente a sus errores, sobre todo ante su familia. Un recuerdo amargo en el que su madre se ve involucrada, y que no queda claro en el film, perturba la mente de H, que trata de escapar en los excesos. Hasta que conoce a Babi, una chica de familia pudiente, muy recatada y conservadora en sus modos. Ambos comienzan a encantarse el uno con el otro, a pesar de que la personalidad de H hace complicada las cosas. Basado en la novela italiana homónima de Federico Moccia, “Tres metros sobre el cielo, es una película de corte teenager, pero que posee la característica de ser rodada con equipo español. Los personajes carecen de veracidad, pero es atractiva y permite pasar un par de horas entretenido. Creemos que nos ha convencido, no es su totalidad, pero de alguna manera dan ganas de ir a ver al cine la segunda parte llamada “Tengo ganas de ti”, que actualmente está en cartelera.

Three meters above the sky. (2010). Fernando González Molina. Spain
Set in the  warm and funny Barcelona, a young man named H seeks his destiny amid motorcycle runs, alcohol and lack of control. Inevitably, he must confront their mistakes, especially with his family. A bitter memory in which his mother is involved, that it is not clear in the film, disturb H’s  mind, trying to escape of the excesses. Until he meets Babi, a girl from a wealthy family, very demure and conservative in their ways. Both start enchanted with each other, although the personality of H makes things complicated. Based on the italian novel of the same name by Federico Moccia, "Three meters above the sky”, is a teenager cutting film, but has the characteristic of being shot with a spanish team. The characters are untrue, but it is attractive and we could spend a couple of hours amusing. We think that it has convinced us, not entirely, but somehow makes you want to go see the sequel movie called "I have wanted you," which is currently in theaters.

Los Pilares de la Tierra. (TV Mini-serie. Sergio Mimica). Canada-Alemania. 2010.

Desde hace un tiempo a esta parte, las mini-series televisivas en formato cine nos están encantando. Y como muestra, un botón: la excelentísima e intrigante serie de 8 capítulos titulada “Los Pilares de la Tierra”, adaptación del libro del autor de bestsellers Ken Follett. Nos situamos en la Edad Media, en el período de anarquía inglesa, en dónde la disputa por el trono de Inglaterra se encuentra supeditado a traiciones y juegos de poder. En este ambiente, una familia busca su destino a partir de la construcción de una magnífica catedral en un pequeño priorato que le es devoto a San Alfonso, y en el cual se espera entregar paz y prosperidad a sus monjes y  habitantes. No será una tarea fácil, ya que la ambición por los territorios, la política del período, la prepotencia de la Inglesia Católica y las múltiples batallas, hacen crear un mundo lleno de complejidades e intrigas. Excelentes personajes, historias principales y secundarias muy bien creadas, y una soberbia ambientación, hicieron que esta serie fuera una maravillosa entretención para las heladas noches de invierno. ¡Recomendable!

For a will to this part, the sitcoms in movie format have been delighted. And the proof ins in the pudding: the excellent and intriguing sitcom of 8 chapters named “The Pillars of the Eatrh”, adapted from the book of the bestseller’s author, Kent Follett. We are located in the Middle Ages, the english period of anarchy, where the battle of the england’s throne is subject to the power plays adn betrayals. In this enviroment, one family try to find their destiny since the contruction of a magnificent cathedral in a small priory, wich is devoted to San Alfonso, and tries to give peace and propsperity to their monks and inhabitants. It will not at easy task, because the ambition for territories, the political performance of this period, the arrogance of the Catholic Church and the multiple battles, created a full world of complexities and intrigues. Great characters, major an minor stories very well created, and a superb admosphere, made this sitcom a wonderful enterteinment for the icy Winter nights. Recommended!

Es 1988. Chile busca la democracia a través de un plebiscito que decidirá el futuro de un país que anhela la libertad. Y en este sueño, un grupo de entusiastas, pero también muy asustados publicistas, trata de hacer frente a la posibilidad de entregar un mensaje simple: el de la alegría. Pero para conseguirla, deben hacer frente a los temores, aprensiones, disputas de poder, esperanzas y anhelos de tantas personas que han sido calladas por muchos años, que con mucha impotencia y rabia, creen que no hay posibilidad de ganar.  Serán por tanto los esfuerzos y los sueños por hacer algo que llame a votar en masa a los indecisos, los que este grupo de personas quiere hacer llegar a través de quince minutos de pantalla, y finalmente gritar a los cuatro vientos el mensaje ahogado por tantos años: No más.
